Here is a little food for thought.
Leaves one to wonder when will these forty-five global conflicts grow to become one worldwide global conflict.
These are the top forty-five armed conflicts. Presently, the Geneva Academy is monitoring one hundred and ten conflicts in all.
‘One hundred and ten’! Digest that for a minute.
No one wants to think about the ‘final war‘, but look around folks, history is once again repeating itself.
Jokingly, we all say that another world war will never happen because the ‘super powers‘ will never allow it.
Yet, it is these so-called ‘super powers‘ who are causing, funding, interfering with and arming the conflicts.
Add in the inherent violent nature of humans and all of a sudden that final war seems a tad bit closer than we are willing to admit.
It is inevitable that another global conflict will happen. History has shown time and time again that war and prejudice are in our nature and are continuously repeated.
We learn from our past, but we do not implement that knowledge into present day life. Which means neither shall we will implement it in our future.
Mankind, as a species, has much more evolving to do before we will ever be able to co-exist with one another.
Simple as that.
Sad, but true.
I am by no means a ‘conspiracy theorist‘.
Rather, I am a ‘realist’.
Reality may just be a concept of man or it may be the perception of the reality before us.
At this point in history, the reality before us is a high definition portrait of secular violence, global mistrust and dissent.
Millennium after millennium and not one period of a world without war.
Campers, that is a sad, sad, sad portrait of the aggresive genetics we pass on to our future generations.
Personally, I strongly believe that we need to fall back and regroup. We need to ‘flip the script‘ regarding the way we see each other. We need to do the same for the way we treat each other.
Most of all, we have to put the ‘social‘ back into ‘society‘ and the ‘human‘ back into ‘humanity‘.
I fear neither I, my sons nor my grandchildren will ever witness the time of man were that becomes a reality.
So sayeth this old LightHouse.
