  Just got the pathology reports for the colonoscopy I had last week. CANCER IS IN REMISSION!!!! BUT ...... I have pre-cancer dysplasia. My colon is severely damaged from the huge abscess I had in 2020 and from the Experimental Radical Radiation Treatments. In 2020 they removed 18 inches of my colon and they think they may have to remove two more sections. SO  ... GOOD NEWS  ........... IT IS NOT THE CANCER SPREADING BAD NEWS  ...... IT IS STILL VERY SERIOUS AND I MAY LOSE MORE OF MY COLON. I am glad it's not the cancer spreading into my bowels. It is a huge load off my shoulders. If I need surgery then I need surgery.  Simple as that! I will deal with it like I did with everything else I have been through. With a positive attitude, inappropriate humour and my handsome grin. Hopefully they can treat me without cutting me up (Again!) The pre-cancerous dysplasia is cause for concern.  It can easily become cancer. But, I am a Cancer Warrior, not...

  January 2019 This picture was taken five years ago. I had just begun a 33 week stay in Princess Margaret Cancer Center. The first of many stays. I looked so old. As the song says, “I was so much older then. I’m younger th an that now.” To think of all I have survived since then just blows my mind. Look at this next picture. Taken a few weeks after my spleen literally exploded. Causing me to bleed out, be resuscitated and spend yet another spell on life support  (yes, again! ) The battle was catching up to me. The two cancers, losing my gallbladder, my lymph nodes, my hearing, my teeth, the use of a kidney, a part of my bowel and the numerous other afflictions that challenged my will to survive tested me to my limits and beyond. Not to mention the abdominal abscess that led to my dropping out, being resuscitated, then being on life support (again!).  I had an enormous abscess growing within and it almost took my life. Christmas will never exist in my life after this year. My son, Delaney Jordan, committed suicide yesterday. December 25th, 2019. Left to Right:Me,Jordan,Randy Left to Right: Jordan, Randy and I. He and his wife, Katelyn, decided to relocate from Toronto, Ontario to Black Diamond, Alberta. They had made the decision to start a new life in a new province with new friends. Alberta was not good to them at all. When they first arrived they did their best to try and secure employment. Kate succeeded by finding a part time job at a subway sandwich shop. Social Services absolutely refused to help them in any way. Even at Christmas. They were actually quite rude to both Katelyn and Jordan. This led to depression for both of them. They could not believe that a government agency could care less that they were homeless and possibly going to freeze to death on the street.
