Mindsets are odd little things

Mindsets are odd little things. They are versatile and, in most case scenario's, useful. I love observing the mindsets of human's in their natural environment. I spend many hours collecting the tidbits of knowledge, humour and complaints. This accounts for how I have been enabled to see life from so many viewpoints and angles of perceptions. I have been blessed by learning inner knowledge via the knowledge and life lessons of my fellow dwellers on this planetary continuum of space/time. One can learn so much in the instant it takes to watch another life form walk in the mists of society. For instance.... To ingest the systematic behaviorism of the fresh vegetable purchaser....the way their fingers coarsely, but yet softly caress the surface of each and every ear of corn, stroke every length of celery and the intense stare as they visually examine the quality of the expected purchase. If through third eye sightedness you can overstand the emotion, the sincerity and the intellige

I woke Up And Realized It Was Confession Time.........

(Re-post - original posting March 2008 dannverner.spaces.live) I woke Up And Realized It Was Confession Time......... Interesting thought...... In my 38 years living on my own in the deepest roots of the darkest part of society and then later in years living in the deepest roots of being rich and "Joe Citizen", then returning to become a meager man, "Just Dann", I have discovered a few things that have been constant throughout all ages - some people are good, some evil and some are agitators in the machine. The reason our youth are like they are is the learned behaviorism from us adults. Our media, our ways and our quest to hide behind intoxicants and drugs so that we do not see the reality we have created. Our constant and very much genetic habit of "finding a reason to misplace blame", our reluctance to readily admit, "I fucked up". There is quite a difference in allowing one's self to want to save society and people as a whole and trying t

The Times They Are A Changing

Just a little something I thought Deserved Our Attention...... MARK CRIPPS MANAGING EDITOR, TALES FROM THE CRYPT http://www.hamiltonmountainnews.com/news/article/211352 http://www.ancasternews.com/news/article/211226 http://www.dundasstarnews.com/opinions/article/211226 I don’t know if Mayor Fred Eisenberger ever smoked pot. If he did, he wouldn’t feel out of place at the post-election party of candidates vying for the mayor’s job in the municipal election later this year. Of the four candidates who have declared an intention to run for the city’s top elected job, two are marijuana activists – Michael Baldasaro and . Maybe Fred did smoke pot when he was a much younger man, but didn’t inhale? If I were mayor of this city, I’d be smoking weed every day. A good stoner may be exactly what this city needs. Baldasaro has run for the mayor’s job before. Leader of the Church of the Universe, he also ran for Parliament in 1984, 2000 and 2004. Aside from his degree in “weedology,” Haines is list

Summer Heat & Compassion

Just a quick note to remind everyone to bear in mind that as this summer heat arrives we should keep an eye out for people less fortunate and assist them anyway we can. What's a bottle of water worth? A LIFE, THAT IS WHAT! I walk with those who have fallen between the cracks and it causes me suffering to absorb their suffering. Compassion is one of the primary necessities in life. Have compassion my fellow Lights......for by example we can lead all into the cooling warmth of that which is 'The Light'. Come Dance With Dann

My Lords! It is already May 7th and 2010! That's a long way from my birth in 1957 and yet, I still shall live till July 17th, 2069. What a marvelous journey this shall be. How do I know the day I will ascend? I have always known. For as far back as I can remember in this time/space continuum I have known my 'death' date. I know not why I know - I just know. I am also aware that it shall be a tasked passage with many physical, mental and spiritual tests along the way. I have been tested before - some I passed and many more I failed, miserably. Failure is the stepping stone for success - remember this always - for every action, no matter on what plain, there is always an opposite and yet equal reaction. This applies to all - the physical - the mental and especially the Spiritual. Darkness needs Light and Light needs the Darkness, Pain needs Pleasure, Empathy needs Apathy - all balances out for the greater good. I spoke a while back about the so-called "New World Order&qu
