Opinions and Thoughts of LightHouse Dann Verner - Just as he is!

With all that is going on in the world I have a fear. A justified fear. A fear of nuclear war. The aggression of Russia, the insanity of North Korea, the numerous conflicts in Africa and the chaos taking place in the Middle East scares me. I am sure that there are many I have neglected to list. These are the main reasons I have this fear. I am far from being a conspiracy theorist. In fact I consider myself to be a realist. Take the recent insanity of Israel’s actions. They are purposely  ‘poking the bear’  throughout the Middle East.  Gaza, the Palestinian genocide, Lebanon, Golan Heights, Iran, just to name a few. Society worldwide is teetering on the edge of collapse. There are serious conflicts on every continent. Even the great United States is full of social unrest and political turmoil. Take the malicious attack by Israel on Iran and Lebanon.  Now Iran is in the position that they have no choice but to strike back. And they most certainly will. In fact they hav...

  War is not the answer. Both Hamas and Israel have no qualms whatsoever concerning starting a THIRD world war. Hamas is wrong! Israel is wrong! For Israel to purposely starve and refuse humanitarian aid for the innocent Palestinian civilians makes them no better than the Hamas. And for the world to stand by and watch such barbaric attacks is absolutely sickening. Religion will be the downfall of mankind as we know it. WAR IS NOT THE ANSWER! ISRAEL HAS PURPOSELY MADE SURE THAT THE WORLD WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SEE WHAT THEIR TROOPS ARE IN THE PROCESS OF COMMITTING. I AM NOT TAKING ANYONE’S SIDE. BECAUSE ALL SIDES ARE WRONG. FRACK HAMAS FRACK ISRAEL. FRACK WAR. We are supposed to be so civilized and here we are in 21st century still behaving like we did 2000 years ago. Let’s just nuke the whole planet so all other living things may exist in peace and harmony!

What I do not understand is how my believing that war is not the answer or that no one wins a war is the wrong belief to have? Is it better to kill each other till the end of days or would it be best for all involved to find a different path of resolution? How can it be all right for one side of a war ( Israel)  to bomb innocent civilians, but not okay for the other side ( Hamas)  to do so? Common sense would tell you that the majority of the people living in the Gaza strip are not supporters of the barbarism of the Hamas. They would much rather be living peaceful lives. Not living under the reign of fear from the Hamas. Largest part of the Gaza strip problem is that if the Hamas were to allow the innocent to leave, where could they go? Israel? Egypt? The majority of the Palestinian people are in the same boat as the average citizen of Afghanistan, Iraq or Syria. They are labeled and condemned by the actions of their governing leaders. "What is wrong with people?" "What is happening to society?" I ask these questions constantly, for I just do not comprehend what is taking place in our world. We have been raising youth for at least two generations who seem to think they are owed everything and should not have to work for it. THE GREATEST DEFECT IN MODERN SOCIETY IS "POLITICAL CORRECTNESS" . It is a very disheartening state of affairs when hurting someone's feelings takes precedent over what is the proper and " right " action to take. The modern day train of thought is unreal. There shall never be a Utopian society in our so-called ' modern ' world. Mankind is still too infantile to get past our genetically instilled want for superiority over each other.
