Hidey Ho Campers and Camperettes! What’s the best advice I would give to someone younger than me? There’s actually numerous ways I could answer this question, so, I will give you the one I believe to be the most serious of them all. Our youth face many obstacles in today’s society. Sadly, all of which place incredible burdens on them. My turning 69 years old next month has Blessed me with an understanding of life that comes from, not my age, but rather the seven decades I was fortunate enough to experience. The 1960’s and 70’s were a time of man that changed the world in all manners. Mostly for the betterment of society, may I add. Every aspect of the world changed rapidly during those two decades. Our automobiles became faster and more areodynamic. Our music followed suite. Becoming faster, more areodynamic and held a much deeper role in our lives.   Here’s an update on my health. It hasn’t been that great as late. As the Osteoporosis eats my vertebra it is compounding and creating new “Compression Fractures”. I now have eight. Five in my lumbar section and three in the ‘T’ section. All in a row. To give you an idea how severe it is, so far I have went from being ‘five foot nine’ inches tall to, now, ‘five foot six’ inches short. Three inches is quite an amount of vertebrae to lose. These fractures are what is making my life one of constant pain. The Cauda Equina bundle of nerves controls most everything below your nipples. EVERYTHING! Walking, sitting, standing, bodily functions, everything! My problem is the increasing amount of pain. My various doctors and surgeons are telling me that soon I will be unable to walk. To be truthful … But … No matter how severe the pain, I force myself to walk my girls twice or more a day. Four kilome ters each walk. Then I sit on my couch and cry. Like Kid Rock says, “I’ve ate out of dumpsters and dined with Kings.” Like the clock shows, I have experienced many things. Yet, in sorrow I have walked my many roads. For the life I have lived was mostly alone. “I am, therefore I think.” I have experienced pain and I have witnessed ‘their’ sorrow. I hope that they can forgive me on the ‘morrow. For always in my heart I hold this sorrow. Perhaps I should have been born in a swamp. For an outlaw life seems what I want. I have buried my Mother and 98 friends. I wake each morning wondering, “WHEN?”

  Why aren’t all American news outlets calling out Donald Trump’s OUTRIGHT LIE about two “huge” firemen rescuing him from the collapsing towers on 911? TRUMP WAS NO WHERE’S NEAR THE TOWERS ! HE WAS TOO BUSY BRAGGING ABOUT “TRUMP TOWER” NOW BEING THE TALLEST BUILDING IN NEW YORK. He disgraced every person who lost their lives that horrific day . No one had to rescue him! He was not there! After 9/11 he stated he would be donating thousands of dollars to help. HE DIDN’T DONATE A SINGLE CENT !

 My appointment, last Thursday morning, at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre went as well as to be expected. I will be 69 years old on October 5th. That said … What I have put this body through, all the additional medical issues and traumas, most people could not survive. In the past seven years, I have been legally dead, resuscitated and put on life support 13 times. Yet, here I am the humbled man I have become. I have no doubt whatsoever that I am alive today due to the stellar care, professionalism and gifted staff of “The Princess Margaret Cancer Centre” and “The University Health Network”. My Stroke Team are concerned that my mini-strokes have been increasing. Very concerned! They will be doing to my brain scans and MRI’s monthly now, instead of every three months. Which means that in the near future I will be going through a battery of brain and spinal scans and a full body angiogram. I rarely talk to people in person, most acquaintances disappeared when I was diagnosed SEVEN YEARS AGO, which I must admit changed my outlook on fake friendships. Not been answering my phone’s or text messages. Spending my darkness with my girls, Pringles and Ruffles. Their love and friendships are true and real. So, When I climb out of the dark crevice of my depression you will be the first to know.
