Urge The Mind To Purge

  Our brains are computers. Therefore … Our computers are brains. In some ways much alike. In other ways not so much. Often, both fall victim to a ‘Hoarders’ clutter of collective memories . Virtual stacks of yesterday’s news and tomorrow’s blues. Easily rectified on our mechanical think tanks with their flatscreen monitors. A simple “Deleting of the cache” with a simple “defrag of the hard drive” and the run of a good “maintenance program” leaves the hard drive fresh and new. Something our brains need for us to do. Like our computers, our mind gets as cluttered, too. Both build dusty stacks of not-so-new news in the shadowed recesses of the mind. We get so caught up in the whirlwinds of “surving survival” that we completely forget to ‘defrag’ or give a deep scrubbing to our mind’s ‘cache’.
