This is one of the conversations I am having with Public Mobile about all of us previous customers having to buy new phones by the end of May due to their selling to Telus. They have also reduced our unlimited data to a mere 1 gig. They have also raised our packages by $5 to $10 depending on the plan. It was my understanding that last January the CRTC was going to allow smaller companies to provide better services - selling out to big corporations undermines that. BUT WHAT IS REALLY BOTHERING ME IS THAT EVERY PUBLIC MOBILE STORE IN ONTARIO IS SELLING PHONES, "ON SALE", TO CUSTOMERS, BUT NOT TELLING THEM THAT PHONE IS GARBAGE AT THE END OF MAY. THIS HAS TO BE CRIMINAL AND ALL PUBLIC MOBILE CUSTOMERS SHOULD FILE COMPLAINTS AT THE CRTC AND SIGN THE ON-LINE PETITION.
