What Public Mobile is doing should be illegal if it isn't all ready.

This is one of the conversations I am having with Public Mobile about all of us previous customers having to buy new phones by the end of May due to their selling to Telus. They have also reduced our unlimited data to a mere 1 gig. They have also raised our packages by $5 to $10 depending on the plan.

It was my understanding that last January the CRTC was going to allow smaller companies to provide better services - selling out to big corporations undermines that.

BUT WHAT IS REALLY BOTHERING ME IS THAT EVERY PUBLIC MOBILE STORE IN ONTARIO IS SELLING PHONES, "ON SALE", TO CUSTOMERS, BUT NOT TELLING THEM THAT PHONE IS GARBAGE AT THE END OF MAY.

THIS HAS TO BE CRIMINAL AND ALL PUBLIC MOBILE CUSTOMERS SHOULD FILE COMPLAINTS AT THE CRTC AND SIGN THE ON-LINE PETITION.

HERE IS MY CONVERSATION - THERE ARE MANY MORE ON THEIR FACEBOOK PAGE DISCUSSING THE SAME.

Hey Public Mobile - talk about forced sales!!!! And deceit to your new customers by selling phones you know will be obsolete in a MONTH!!! At the end of May you have to buy a new phone that has a sim card - but yet in all their stores they are having a sale on the old phones that are no good at month's end.

  • Public Mobile Hi Dann - every new customer is told about the new network transition we are currently experiencing. New customers can sign up for our unlimited talk or unlimited talk and text plans when we transition to the new network. We will not be offering our Unlimited Talk, Text and Data Plans to new customers. Thanks
  • LightHouse Dann Verner Well I knew that! But, this newest bomb about having to buy new phones is not very fair. I have two cells with you and live on pension. So the end of May I am forced to buy a new phone for me and my son. No way I can afford that - I will more then likely go to Chatter or Mobilcity who offer $0 phones and the same service. I expect that Public will see a lot of this in the next few weeks. I have been with you for a few years now and like my service, but feel conned by this sale to Telus.
  • James Robert Mcgovern Public Mobile you jsy said in Post that ( We will not be offering our Unlimited Talk, Text and Data Plans to new customers. Thanks) To me I see that Existing customers will still get UNLIMITEDÉ You need to be Careful in your Words I`m an Older Customer So I want my UNLIMITED BACK Thanks
  • LightHouse Dann Verner No they WILL not - they already notified us that our "unlimited" will be 1 gig only, which is a drop in the well nowadays.
  • LightHouse Dann Verner ARE THE NEW CUSTOMERS TOLD THAT THE PHONE THEY JUST BOUGHT IS ONLY GOOD TILL THE END OF MAY
  • Public Mobile Hi James - we will still be offering plans with unlimited talk and text. We mentioned that we would not be offering plans with unlimited talk, text, and data. Thanks for your inquiry.
  • James Robert Mcgovern Look at what you wrote . We will not be offering our Unlimited Talk, Text and Data Plans to new customers you did say NEW Customers I see that as Fals Info and that old Customers would keep the UNLIMITED would only be Fair
  • LightHouse Dann Verner James Robert Mcgovern IT IS OBVIOUS THAT THEY DO NOT CARE WHAT WE SAY OR THINK. LOOK AT HOW THEY ANSWER US. "THANKS FOR YOUR INQUIRY". Chatter has some great deals right now and I bet at the end of May all the competitors will have great sales.

Court still prohibits marijuana possession

Court still prohibits marijuana possession Shannon Kari, National Post Published: Thursday, December 11, 2008 The prohibition against simple possession of marijuana has been upheld by an Ontario Superior Court judge, in a closely watched case that stemmed from the prosecution of Clifford Long, who was arrested by Toronto police with $40 worth of cannabis. Justice Eva Frank overturned a decision by a lower court judge last year that found there was no valid restriction against possession of cannabis because of flaws with the country's medical marijuana regulations. The lower court decision led to confusion about prosecuting simple possession cases in Ontario, said the federal government in its arguments before Judge Frank earlier this year. The federal Crown argued that the present policies of Health Canada have resulted in enough marijuana for the nearly 2,000 people with medical certificates to possess the drug. Judge Frank agreed with the arguments made by federal government lawy

Demons Of Guilt

Menu The LightHouse Dann Verner Some say my that my life has been a tragic sad tale. Only from their view point. Having lived through my life I can say it has been a damn good ride. I fear not dying for to die is final. To be waiting for that one final jolt of pain is extremely difficult to deal with. DEMONS OF GUILT This is a reflection of the pain I am going through as I finish my son’s biography. Delaney Jordan McLean Verner, 29 years old. Jordan “Bubba” Verner On Christmas morning 2019, hung himself in a town called Black Diamond . An obscure town in the underbelly of Alberta, Canada. He and his wife of 12 years, Katelyn had gone their to start a new life. Hoping to escape the homelessness rut and street life they were “Groundhog Day “  living on the streets of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. A dream that collapsed and left them stranded, freezing and hungry. Only to have Alberta Social Services rudely tell him and his wife to “Go home”. By any way they could. But, a big “but”….. Adding

My Opinion Regarding the Israeli/Hamas War

Listen to this episode on Spotify or wherever you stream podcasts. How can it be all right for one side of a war ( Israel)  to bomb innocent civilians, but not okay for the other side ( Hamas)  to do so? Common sense would tell you that the majority of the people living in the Gaza strip are not supporters of the barbarism of the Hamas. They would much rather be living peaceful lives. Not living under the reign of fear from the Hamas. Largest part of the Gaza strip problem is that if the Hamas were to allow the innocent to leave, where could they go? Israel? Egypt? The majority of the Palestinian people are in the same boat as the average citizen of Afghanistan, Iraq or Syria. They are labeled and condemned by the actions of their governing leaders. The terrorist government controls every and all aspects of their everyday lives. You can not believe that all Palestinian citizens want to go to war. Their hands are tied and their voices are silenced by their leaders If they were to spea
