    Now that Jordan’s biography has been published I can proceed with promoting his story and the secondary reason I wrote “ Black Diamond: Bubba”s Story” . I want people to see what happens within the system. How the  youth like Jordan get pulled into the system, chewed up and spat out onto the concrete sidewalks of society when they, “Age Out.” “ Aging Out”  is the practice of releasing the youth to live as adults once they reach the age of majority for whatever jurisdiction they live in. They are given a pep talk, a temporary assistance cheque and with hidy ho out the door of care they go. I am not sure what avenue to pursue next. I have sent submissions to numerous TV, Radio and as many media outlets as I could think of. I am also sending it to various politicians that I know care about what is happening to our youth.   AUGUST 17, 2020 LIGHTHOUSE DANN EDIT It began with my writing my first autobiography. My “ Walk With Dann Collection “. The four volume account of my life of trials and tribulations. “ Damaged ” was the first book I wrote and published. It covers the first part of my life from birth till my early twenties. I published it without reading it or correcting any of the errors within. My justification for this is that period of my life was not scripted or corrected. “ Damaged”  is raw and bluntly real. Such as my life during that time frame was. It was followed by the three consecutive volumes, “ Bane” , “Boon ” and “ Unkz, A Canadian Cosmonaut”. As you will see upon reading them, you will see how greatly my writing improved. As well as my story lines also.   Delaney Jordan McLean Verner’s life is now immortalized. I have completed and published his biography. It would be an understatement to say that this was the most difficult book any man could have wrote. Believe me when I say that it was far worse then you could imagine. Every single keystroke brought with it a thousand tears and a night of chest pain. The paperback format will be available today.   Time to edit When a few years back I decided to start writing, I did not have a laptop or home computer. This presented a problem with the logistics of the task. Mainly, how the heck can I do it? I have always wrote my WordPress blog via my cell phone. Reason being that I usually author them while being in transit. Also, WordPress has such a great platform. Very user friendly. I would write a chapter or two and save it as a “draft” blog. Then, I would download the draft onto my ChromeBook and into my “OpenOffice” program. Another free ‘open source’ program. In OpenOffice, I would then use a custom template for the size book I wish to publish. As I publish on Amazon and Kindle the preferred size is 5 x 7 inch. The struggle was and is real. It sounds like a complicated way to publish a book, but in reality it was not. It was frustrating, but well worth my time.
