It Is Time For My Calling To Come To Light

Now that Jordan’s biography has been published I can proceed with promoting his story and the secondary reason I wrote

“Black Diamond: Bubba”s Story”.

I want people to see what happens within the system. How the  youth like Jordan get pulled into the system, chewed up and spat out onto the concrete sidewalks of society when they,

“Age Out.”

“Aging Out” is the practice of releasing the youth to live as adults once they reach the age of majority for whatever jurisdiction they live in.

They are given a pep talk, a temporary assistance cheque and with hidy ho out the door of care they go.

I am not sure what avenue to pursue next. I have sent submissions to numerous TV, Radio and as many media outlets as I could think of.

I am also sending it to various politicians that I know care about what is happening to our youth.

I would be forever grateful if all my family, friends and readers could share Black Diamond: Bubba’s Story as much as they could.

Let us give Jordan’s death a meaning and a cause for change.

  At times life is humorous. Other times not so much. When reminiscing about better times, it is the afternoon transforming the evening into night which unfolds into the mornings electric light   that awakens my inner alter ego.
