Broken vs. Damaged

 I am Dann, just as I am.

No one special.

It was a long arduous process for me to find me.


This is the reason why I had to write my life story without lies, or sugar coatings or attempts to justify.

I strongly believe and do my damndest to adhere to my realness.

I can not and do not comprehend how people willingly choose to live life lying to themselves.

For, to lie to oneself proves only that you are incapable of truthfulness towards others.

“If you cannot recognize your own reflection, then what do others see when they gaze at you?”

The answer demands the application of a virginal approach to all aspects and components of life.

Unfortunately, I am not merely “broken“.

Sadly, yet definitely, I am“Damaged“.

Broken can be repaired.

Damaged cannot.

Damaged forces one to reassess their existence.

By doing so this creates an updated version of the person they now have become.

And so I be.

Humbly me.
