WHY ARE WE BLAMING THE DAYCARE AND NOT THE DRIVER OF THE CAR?

Once again the media twists the focus off the offender and onto the victims!

First off,

Please do not take this the wrong way.

I offer my deepest condolences to Liam’s family.

My heart breaks for them.

No parent should ever have to bury their child.

Secondly,

What happened was not done by anyone involved with the daycare.

In fact, they, too, are victims.

Ever adult and child in the centre are VICTIMS!

There were three daycare workers and seven children who were also injured.

The rage should be at the driver of the car!

HE was the one who drove his vehicle through the window and through 3 additional walls of the center before finally coming to a stop!

Something that took tremendous force and speed!

Yet, on the news there was little mention of him.

There was plenty of mention and blame put upon the daycare.

I agree that putting barriers in front of the center could save lives.

Should we put barriers in front of every store, daycare, schools and every commercial storefront?

The news made no mention of the other injured children, nor mention of the injured daycare workers.

Not even an update to the seriousness of their injuries!

Everyone in that daycare were victims.

TO PUT THE BLAME ON THEM IS NOT RIGHT!

Not one of them have any responsibility for the actual accident.

THAT RESTS ON THE SHOULDERS OF THE DRIVER OF THE CAR!

HE DROVE IT THROUGH THE CENTER – NO ONE ELSE!
