I consider myself a “NDP”er, not a Liberal or Conservative. After 50 years of  religiously  voting N DP, I broke that false loyalty and voted for Mark Carney for Prime Minister. Yes, I betrayed my Party. BUT ….. By voting for a candidate solely because they represent “your” party nullifies the moral validity of your vote. Voting out of what’s expected by your party member’s brotherhood and expectations of the “Party” is not a negative action. It’s not a positive gesture either . However, your vote becomes “generic”.   The manufacture of organized chaos Donald Trump is purposefully creating in many corners of the world makes him the greatest threat to world peace since Hitler. Trump is insane, but he is not crazy. He knows what he is doing. Most of his shenanigans are premeditated. Which is scary. You cannot reason with a dementia infected mind! Especially when it is the mind of a fascist, narcissistic, Whitesupremist, rapist, Paedophile and convicted felon. (And these are but a few of the descriptives of the mind of Donald J Trump). Trump wholeheartedly believes every word he speaks. He is incapable of caring if whether they are outright lies or outright truths. It would be damn near impossible to convince him that he is wrong in any situation because he believes that “we” are the problem. He definitely has a “God Complex” and believes that he is far more intelligent than the majority of people. Is there such a thing? In my opinion and, by today’s standards, my definition of a great leader is comprised of a trio of high priority traits. The first of which is “honesty”. The most important trait of all traits. For if there lay dishonesty then all that follows is based on lies. Second would be “compassion”. For how we react emotionally to the emotions of others defines the person we truly are within. “Strength”   would be next. There are many forms of “strength”. Inner strength is the defining factor of our ability to survive in society. We need physical strength in cases such as shovelling away the tons of bullshit life throws our way. A “compassionate”, “honest” person of “strength” will be a leader of leaders amongst their community. The type of leader who will lead the people, not govern them under submissive obedience to their power. A GOOD LEADER! To the people they would be “Good for you” and “good for me”

Let me ask you a serious question. “Do you feel safe? I am not referring to the security of your home. I am referring to how “safe” you feel. How secure you feel is another matter. When it comes to home security, safe and secure are two definitive different things. I remember in my rebellious teens a police officer telling a neighbour   whose   home had been broken into that, and I quote, “Locks are only for honest people.” It was fifty years ago I heard him say that , yet, I still remember it well. “Why?” Because of it’s raw realism. A strong portrait of the society of man. And sadly, a simple truth. Our enormous amounts of police and law related movies and tv series   take away from our safety by giving us false confidence in our security. Such scenarios like: “In a house, full of ground floor windows, that burglars are attempting to break into, all you have to do is run and lock all your windows and doors, call 911 and the calvary will arrive and catch “Bob the Burglar...

  Trump’s dementia is becoming more and more obvious with each new day. The American people have dumbfounded the rest of the world by their lack of action against the insanity of the Trump Cartel’s Coup. First things first, “Greenland is not only a sovereign nation, it is also a member of NATO. An Ally that all NATO members have sworn to protect. Trump’s claims that the States ‘must’ have possession of a fellow NATO member’s nation is outrageous and insane! If the States feels it needs a greater presence on the Island they simply need to increase their presence. The treaty of 1951 clearly dictates that the United States can increase their forces at their existing Greenland bases freely and as greatly as they deem necessary. In other words, “You are already in Greenland and you can increase your military presence whenever you wish.” This latest tactic of Trump’s of adding additional tariffs against the eight countries that have spoken up against the Trump regime   is just blata...

  Our brains are computers. Therefore … Our computers are brains. In some ways much alike. In other ways not so much. Often, both fall victim to a ‘Hoarders’ clutter of collective memories . Virtual stacks of yesterday’s news and tomorrow’s blues. Easily rectified on our mechanical think tanks with their flatscreen monitors. A simple “Deleting of the cache” with a simple “defrag of the hard drive” and the run of a good “maintenance program” leaves the hard drive fresh and new. Something our brains need for us to do. Like our computers, our mind gets as cluttered, too. Both build dusty stacks of not-so-new news in the shadowed recesses of the mind. We get so caught up in the whirlwinds of “surving survival” that we completely forget to ‘defrag’ or give a deep scrubbing to our mind’s ‘cache’. Neglect of maintenance leads to an overload of major negatives that our overworked consciousness subliminally stores in the hope chest of memories on...

  In many of my recent posts I often refer to and compare Trump’s “ICE Agents” to Hitler’s “Brown Shirts”   of the 1930’s. Doubting that anyone under the age of fifty would know who these Brown Shirts were or what their purpose was I thought it best to post information to enlighten those people who do not understand the comparisons.
