"Peace is more then a mere verbal utterance, more then a concept devised by four British Lads, one Ravi Shankar, and Bob Dylan having a beer at their local pub." November 21st 2007 Dann Verner
These Minstrels,Holy Men, Poets and many others with similar artistic talents and beliefs used their music, their minds, their Charisma their very souls to spread the philosophies of peace and unity.
If only we all would have listened our lives would be in much better benefit.
NOW, it is the time for listening and it is up to us as fellow brothers and sisters to spread the message - not only do we have a greatly scarred planet to heal - we also have the tremendous task of teaching our fellow man that it is OUR time to unite into one world of peace and tranquility - war is not the answer and never shall it be. Trips to the Cosmos are not going to help. The trillions of dollars being spent on such could be far greater used here on Mother Earth in more meaningful avenues - we are exploring space and yet we do not even know our home planet. Let us get to know 'home' before we go visiting the neighbours.
Humanistic character allows for us to put things off till it is too late. We must change our instilled genetic thoughts and stop the selfishness of modern living.
We must slow down our daily lifestyles and work in unison. We must teach our children, our brothers, our sisters and our mothers and fathers that this is the day-of-age where we are to create the world that God, Buddha, Jah, The Cosmic Muffin or whoever you perceive our Creator to be,set in plan for us. We have all the parts - we need only to put them together in the proper order.
As John Lennon so simply stated, "GIVE PEACE A CHANCE!" - what a simple and - yet - so complicated message is contained in these words.
