Just so you younger generations know – this is called music.
Notice that the sound is coming from actual people – not a phone or computer.
Oh, and lyrics (words) were written and sung by a real person.
Believe it or not, but back in the “old” days music was entertaining and fun to experience.
It did not call women “hoe’s” or suggest that you go shoot someone because they disrespected your welfare cheque.
We had “dances” and, believe it or not, we didn’t shoot each other at closing time.
We didn’t care about having gold chains and a bank owned car.
We DID care about having a great time and, if lucky, getting a kiss good night.
The oddest thing of all was that our songs told POSITIVE stories about love and life. Really, I kid you not.
So, I suggest that you give the older music a listen.
I can guarantee that it will make you sing along and smile at each other.
It will not make you feel like jumping into your over financed automobile and driving by your rival artists and shoot multiple rounds at them from your assault rifle.
This “classic music” was not “angry“.
Unlike the majority of today’s music it did not teach greed and disrespect for others.
It certainly, beyond any doubt, did not glorify or encourage punkass gang violence.
It always held a peaceful message and it certainly promoted having a great time with your peers.
To quote a man named “John“,
“All we are saying is give peace a chance.”
