Three & A Half Minutes

Here is a prime example of what is wrong with society …

On the news this evening they spent three minutes and thirty seconds reporting on the triple broad daylight shooting in the North York suburb.

Three and a half minutes!

THEN …

The same news show spent ten minutes reporting on the “possibility” of the LCBO Liquor Store workers going on strike.

Not being “on strike“, just a possibility.

Ten Minutes!

Meanwhile …

There are families crying as they were informed that three of their loved ones have become victims of gun violence.

Not just victims, deceased victims.

Hopefully …

The LCBO workers do not go on strike before these poor, distraught families and their friends have enough time to buy alcoholic beverages to numb their pain.

Come on People!

Don’t you think it is high time we start to get our priorities straight?

Are we living in such a cold, self centered world that alcohol is more news worthy than the victims of gun violence?

As a society we need to take a huge step backwards and look at the world we have created.

There are far more important things to deal with than assuring that you will be able to rush to get a drink whenever life gives you a shot of reality.

It is no wonder that we have three generations of kids raising kids, disposable marriages, gender confusion, welfare as a career choice, mass homelessness, the majority of people whining from sun up till sun down and – worse of all – it has become almost impossible to find and purchase “real” black licorice!

Justice Eva Frank overturned a decision by a lower court judge last year that found there was no valid restriction against possession of cannabis because of flaws with the country's medical marijuana regulations. You all remained silent even when both Trump and Musk openly admitted to rigging the electoral computers in Pennsylvania. You all allowed the fascist rapist to STEAL the Presidency from Harris. You have stood by and allowed your newly appointed Dictator to commit crime after crime. I remember a time when the American people actually stood up for their CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS.
