Hitler’s “Brown Shirts” or Trump’s “Sturmabteilung”, is there a difference?

In many of my recent posts I often refer to and compare Trump’s “ICE Agents” to Hitler’s “Brown Shirts” of the 1930’s.

Doubting that anyone under the age of fifty would know who these Brown Shirts were or what their purpose was I thought it best to post information to enlighten those people who do not understand the comparisons.
Here is such information from Wikipedia:
(After each highlighted section I will add my commentary.)
Key Aspects of the Brownshirts (SA)
- Origins & Uniforms: Formed in 1921, the brown shirts were initially surplus military uniforms intended for German colonies, purchased cheaply and adopted by the SA.
- Role in Nazi Rise: They provided muscle for the Nazis, protecting rallies and attacking political rivals, creating an atmosphere of fear and disorder.
Does the above highlighted section sound familiar?
Very, very familiar?

- Membership: Comprised mainly of unemployed or lower-middle-class Germans, they offered a sense of belonging and purpose.
Pause and think about Trump’s ICE Agents.
Now, think about the “pardoned January 6th rioters”.
Is it merely coincidental that shortly after Trump pardoned the insurrectionists the size of the ICE forces increased?
Take into consideration who was pardoned.
The majority of them were mainly younger lower class “rednecks”, (for lack of a better label).
Imagine how “important” they felt when their President puts a badge on their chests and informs them that they are “untouchable”.
- Conflict with Hitler: SA leader Ernst Röhm wanted the SA to become the new German army, clashing with Hitler’s ambitions and the established military (Wehrmacht).
- The Purge: In 1934, Hitler ordered the killing of Röhm and other SA leaders during the Night of the Long Knives, effectively neutralizing the SA’s power.
When I read this part immediately I thought about the many, many occassions were Trump “ranted” about the “criminality of the Democrats” and their “treasonous ways.”

- Legacy: While the SA faded in importance, their early violence paved the way for the SS and established the Nazi Party’s authoritarian control, with the brownshirts symbolizing early Nazi intimidation.
If the corrupt Trump Cartel, posing as his ‘administration’, succeed in their mandates of establishing authoritarian control are not the “ICE Agents” the poster child of his regime?
Here is a definition from Wikipedia:
“Brownshirts,” or the Sturmabteilung (SA), were the original paramilitary wing of the Nazi Party, known for their distinctive brown uniforms, which they wore while disrupting political opponents, intimidating citizens, and helping Hitler rise to power through street violence.
What colour are the uniforms of ICE agents?
What happens at every rally of a Trump opponent or criticizer?
Are American civilians being intimidated?

The “street violence” happening across the nation is enforcing the fear the administration is purposefully instilling in the citizens and at the same time helping Trump achieve his directives
‘The Hill’ defines well the significance of the uniform:
“What does wearing a brown shirt symbolize?”
“Adolf Hitler and his henchmen were masters of using symbols and colors to create a national socialist agenda. The “Brownshirts,” party enthusiasts who believed in a greater Aryan nation, come quickly to mind. In America, symbolism and colors also play an important part in our political and social discourse.Mar 3, 2019″
