A New Day's Rising

 

As I glance around

Taking heed of sound

Ponderings rising deep within me

Querying this growing hatred I see

Expect not from me silence

In witness of public violence

Or abhorrent racial acts

Or sexual deviant attacks

Or cowardly femiside

Last not least

Homicide the beast

Seven decades living reckless was I

Awareness gained regardless how high

No belief of rich monetary policy

Nor of fake billionaire psychology

69 years of walking in life

Came trials, tribulations and strife

World now in darkest of place

De-evolution of human race

Elite minority in control

Hidden agenda protocol

One delusional so-called man

Danger in his bruised hand

What can people do to cope

Life governed without hope

Time come logic will rise

Numbering credible in size

History taught us well

Empires all burned and fell

This I pledge from me to you

For both we know it be true

Put the human back into humanity

Deterring present political insanity

Come soon a day when enough is enough

Rise up people twice fooled now tough

Reclaim democracy, Constitutional rights

Imprisoned hypocrisy ended all fights

Looking upon the golden horizon

Smiles form, a new day’s rising.
