What Will It Take For “God”, “The Cosmic Muffin” Or “Hairy Thunderer”, Or Whatever You Call “Our Creator” To Intervene And Put Mankind In It’s Place?

 

Have you taken the time lately to stop and take a genuine assessment of the society we have created?

Not a “look“.

Not a “glance“.

A sincere and unbiased study of what you see before you.

If you have done so then you know that what you have seen is a society in turmoil.

A world that preaches ….. “All men are equal.”

Even though we definitely are not.

A world that preaches ….. “Love they neighbour“.

Only when we are not killing each other.

(Although it is not uncommon for us to love our neighbour’s spouse.)

Most days we are harming our neighbours. Be it via war, or deceitfulness, or adultry, or bigotry.

Oh, here’s the biggest farce of them all ….

“Thy shall not kill.”

(Give me a minute so I can stop laughing at this one. This one literally ‘kills’ me.)

In my 68 years of life I have witnessed many sides of mankind. Sides that show the hypocrisy of society in general.

Sides that caused me to lose my religion.

What will it take for “God”, the “Cosmic Muffin”, or the “Hairy Thunderer”, or whatever you call “Our Creator” to intervene and put mankind in it’s place?

I am not an atheist by it’s definition.

However, I do not believe in ‘Religions‘.

I believe them to be no more than cults.

Be they Catholic, Protestant, Jewish, Muslim or the Church of Latter Day Saints, they are nothing more than organized groups of people who share the same beliefs.

Religions are cult based.

Most cults are religious based.

Ninety-nine percent preach ‘Peace, Love and Compassion’ – but only if you follow their path and rules.

This alone is the hypocrisy of ‘Religion’

I have ‘Faith’.

Not in my fellow mankind.

Rather, I have faith in the Universe.

I do believe that in some way, some where, during some long ago time, some how mankind was ‘created‘.

By who,or what, or why I strongly doubt that we will ever know.

The Universe gave birth to ‘Humanity‘.

The Universe is probably shaking it’s head in disbelief of what humanity has done to such a once beautiful world.

Currently there are over forty-two hundred “Religions” being worshipped in the world.

Forty-two hundred gangs of fanatical followers of the sacred heart.

Forty-two hundred arguments waiting to happen as soon as an opponent states that their’s is the one ‘true’ religion.

Forty-two hundred reasons to start a war.

“A Holy War”

Look at the Middle East.

The “Holy Land“.

Do you know that in the recorded history of mankind there has never been a time of “Peace” in the land where Jesus Christ is known to have been born?

Never!

Not one period of nonviolence!

That alone speaks volumes.

“Zionist against Muslims”

“Catholics against Protestants”

“Judaism against Islamics”

Religious ideologies are the foundations of all wars.

When ‘we’ pray to our perceived ‘God’ does ‘their’ perceived God hear that same Prayer?

I am a “Realist” and being such I understand mankind’s need for the concept of “God”.

I understand that mankind needs the mantras of Prayer.

However, Campers, I would not hold my breath waiting for the “Second Coming”.

Look what happened to Jesus Christ in the “First Coming”!!!

It is no wonder “Jesus wept”.
