Hopefully this time tomorrow I will still be able to post.

I am scheduled for the procedure to, hopefully, unblock the blockage in the stent they implanted deep in my cerebellum June 11, 2024.

One in four chance of success.

Worst case scenario is that I suffer a massive stroke and die.

Second worst scenario is I suffer a massive stroke and survive. But, I will be a zombie trapped in my mind and unable to communicate.

That is my greatest fear.

To be trapped in my overactive mind and not able to function would be Hell.

BUT …

Those of you who know me well know that I have surprised my doctors many, many times by surviving being legally dead 13 times, being resuscitated and on life support.

It is a simple procedure but complicated by how deep in my brain the blockage is. Hopefully they will be able to unblock it and restore the blood flow to my brain before the damage is irreversible.

Invasive surgery is not an option.

So, let’s hope that I can pull it off one more time.

If not, then it is what it is and off to my personal Valhalla I shall go.

Despite all the traumas, trials and tribulations life has thrown at me I can honestly say that it, my life, has been a long, winding road of good times, bad times, happy times and sad ones, too.

The greatest of all is that I have gotten to share life with you.

In short, it’s been a good ride!

But, I have the greatest confidence in my neurologist and his team.
