Lost, Never To Be Found!

 {PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT}

I am hoping that you all may be able to assist me in recovering a priceless and extremely necessary lost part of my life.

A task that may be far more difficult than one may expect.

A situation that began over five decades ago.

During the early 1960’s, on a dark, well lit night, as the effects of the Double Orange Barrel microdot LSD where awakening my blind third eye and as George Harrison’s “All Things Must Pass” album played it’s magical melodies, I LOST SOMETHING that should never had been lost.

“My Sweet Lord” I pray we may recover it.

On numerous occasions, I have attempted to recover the lost object.

During these attempts I often went so far as too ingest the same dosage of the Orange Barrel Acid.

With hope that if I reached the same level of euphoric consciousness I was in when it disappeared I would find that which I carelessly misplaced.

Unfortunately that ploy did not bring success, but for some odd reason caused me to laugh for no apparent reason.

However, it, the LSD, did help me find my inner outer shell of logical chaos

My search continues much like David’s search for the “Lost Chord”.

Often I would get “The Moody Blues”.

Like Charlie Brown’s quest to find the Great Pumpkin.

I cannot pinpoint the exact date it went missing.

I have narrowed it down to between 1967 and up to and including 1969.

That is the period of my life where I lost it.

My bad, Campers, I have not even told you the target of the search …

“I LOST MY SANITY!”

(I have carried the shame and guilt ever since.)

I do remember that it was a pleasant sanity.

Logical.

Always dancing in the windmills of my mind.

The type of sanity that often comes paired with ….

“Common Sense”.

SO CAMPERS, PLEASE KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN FOR MY SANITY.

If discovered, text me immediately.

I will immediately gather my whits and rush to bring my dear “Sanity” home.
